Good range, service and quality. Excellent views as the restaurant hangs over a cliff, only downside is you have to leave one of your party outside to look after the bikes!On the ma-10 halfway through the village.

Valldemossa: Here there are a number of good cafés and restaurants, all close enough to the road, and all catering mainly but not exclusively to the tourist rather than the cyclist market. Don't forget to try the "coca de patata" 🙂

Sóller: Sa Frontera.

Good range, service and quality. Menu of the day. Stop before you cross to the ma-11 from the ma-10. Remember you have the longest climb on the island immediately ahead of you. Port Sóller adds an extra couple of kilometres to your route but here the choice is very wide. If you go through the one way system to the beachfront, there’s a restaurant to cater to every palate and budget. Remember you have Puig Major 2km ahead of you.

Are there any cafes in Mallorca with bicycle repair facilities?

Yes, Plumo Café in Palma is a café that has a workshop as well. Sa Ruta Verda has tools for sale that can help you on your journey and some free facilities to help you on the way. In Coll de Sa Bataia, at the famous petrol station, there is a tool station for cyclists available for use free of charge. Cycling Planet in Alaró also has a bike workshop at the back of its café.

However, in the more touristy areas, there is usually a café or restaurant near the shops and bike workshops so you can have a drink while you wait for your bike to be fixed.

At Coll de Sa Bataia, one of the most popular climbs, you will find the famous petrol station which has a cafeteria that during the cycling season welcomes hundreds of cyclists every day.

Before or after your descent or ascent, depending on which direction you take this route, you will find Sa Ruta Verda. On the way to Sa Calobra, before the descent, you will find the famous orange juice shack.

On the route to Puig Major, you will find Es Mirador de Ses Barques. In Alaró you can visit Cycling Planet and in Lloseta, Mega Bar. In Randa you will find a café at the start of the climb and another at the top, in the Monasterio de Cura.In Sineu, in the centre of Mallorca you will find Pa Nord, which offers local products at good prices and they are used to welcoming hundreds of cyclists every day. Also in Sineu and for a more sophisticated experience, you will find Sa Mola. In Esporles you will find Café Doble. And of course, in the centre of Palma: Plumo.

Is there a cafe in Cap de Formentor?

Yes, there is a café in Cap de Formentor inside the lighthouse. Prices are not cheap, but that is due to the its remote location. Halfway along you will find a beach bar near a car park where you can also buy something to drink or eat if you need to.

However, at the beginning and end of the Formentor route, in Puerto Pollença, you will find a host of cafés and restaurants to chose from to suit all tastes.

Are there any cafes or restaurants open at 6 or 7 in the morning to grab a coffee and something to eat before heading out?

Yes, but it will depend on the area you are in. In Mallorca there are local cafes that open very early in the morning for early risers and workers, so a quick search on Google Maps will take you to the closest one to your location.

There are usually no drinking fountains on the streets in Mallorca. There are usually fountains in the mountains or in some natural areas. It is true that in some towns and areas popular for cycling, there are public fountains where you can refill your bottle. However, it is advisable to carry your own drinks in case you do not find any on the specific route you are going to ride.

Monasterio de Cura: After Puig de Randa, this climb begins towards the Monasterio de Cura. At the top, you'll find a café and beautiful panoramic views of the entire island.

You'll find something similar when you climb up to Sant Salvador.

At the Mirador de Ses Barques, in the Sierra de Tramuntana, you can enjoy your coffee in front of a panoramic view of Port de Sóller and the Mediterranean Sea.
